I love hand-drawn animation because it’s so colorful and more beautiful. I self-taught how to do it. I’ve done animation on paper, and on my iPad using an app called Procreate Dreams with a stylus.
This is the animation of the Jack Of Puzzles logo.
This is my first live-action/animated video of my mentors Kim Bouressa’s 50th Birthday in 2019. The cartoons here shown are myself, Big Bird, Rooster Cogburn (John Wayne) from True Grit, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid themselves, and John Voight from Midnight Cowboy because all of these characters were debuted in 1969, my mentor’s birthyear.
This is the live-action/animated video of my sister Bella’s 15th birthday in 2020. As you can listen, no young Hollywood actors voiced each of her friends as cartoons. It’s just her friends voiced themselves in 2D hand-drawn form!
This is the video that mixed live-action and animation of my sister Gabi’s 22nd birthday and college graduation in 2020. As you can listen, no Hollywood actors voiced each of her friends as cartoons. It’s just her friends voiced themselves in 2D hand-drawn form!
This was for my parents’ 55th birthdays in December 2021. Like the ones I did for my sisters, my parents’ friends turned into cartoons (whom are voiced by themselves) and they ended up turned into cartoons.
This is a promo I made for New England Disabled Sports, which my family has been volunteering this non-profit organization helping disabled people have lots of fun while skiing Loon Mountain in New Hampshire.
My animation piece for my job Road to Responsibility. This one is about when a co-worker “breaks the fourth wall”.
This is the animation I did of my twin cousins, Ashley and Kayla. I animated this on Procreate Dreams.
This is the animation I did of my friend, Kayla.
This is the cartoon process of my friend Kayla from live-action, to rough animation, to final animation!
This is the animation of the five hosts of Turner Classic Movies, Ben Mankiewicz, Dave Karger, Alicia Malone, Eddie Muller, and Jacqueline Stewart. I’m a friend of TCM myself!
IMPORTANT: I am a friend of Turner Classic Movies.
I’m lucky to have all five of the TCM hosts as my friends since 2024. With TCM’s permission, I created an animation piece of all the hosts, besides custom puzzles of me and the hosts as a personal thank you for all they do to keep classic movies alive.
These are private gifts and are not for sale. This independent project by Jack Of Puzzles is not affiliated with, or made by Turner Classic Movies, or Warner Bros. Discovery.

Here’s the process.
